ASA releases online ground school for drone pilots

The virtual test prep course is designed for those who are flying a drone for non-hobby operations, which requires a Remote Pilot Certificate. Earning that certificate requires you to pass an FAA knowledge exam.

FAA committee to examine pilot mental health

The FAA is establishing a Pilot Mental Health Aviation Rulemaking Committee “to provide recommendations on breaking down the barriers that prevent pilots from reporting mental health issues to the agency,” according to FAA officials.
