Billed as the world’s most remote aviation event, the Greenland Air Trophy pits two teams of pilots — one from Europe and one from the Americas — as they compete in STOL and precision landing competitions after flying across the Atlantic Ocean. The teams will meet in Narsarsuaq, Greenland, June 25, for the competition.

Investigation begins into why NOTAM system crashed
An investigation has begun to determine what caused the FAA’s Notice to Air Missions (NOTAM) system to crash at 8:28 p.m. Jan. 10, 2023. The outage led the FAA to ground all flights until 9 a.m. Jan. 11.
