Aviators Model Code of Conduct updated
Version 3.0 includes “enhanced treatment of new technologies, and a response to the increasing presence of uncrewed aircraft,” according to officials with Aviators Code Initiative.
Aviation Mechanic textbook updated
The fifth edition features updated content reflecting new regulations and changes affecting aviation mechanic certification. Recent innovations in batteries and alternative fuels are also included, according to officials with Aviation Supplies & Academics (ASA).
Extra flies under another plane on same runway
Once we were almost to touch down, we noticed the black profile of another aircraft at the landing end of the runway. As ZZZ1 is in a trough with trees on both sides and ridges, we had not the luxury to go right or left and abort, but to either climb out or go straight under.

Once a pilot, always a pilot?
After a short hop, I am at my home base again, Whiteman Airport (KWHP) in Los Angeles, and all is well. I do not know yet that this will be the last time I have taken to the skies as PIC. After more than 30 years of flying it was over. Just like that.
