Tuskegee Next Founder Steve Davis wants to give back to disadvantaged youth in his home town, Knoxville, Tennessee. Davis, who believes, “you can’t be what you can’t see,” plans to establish a branch of the program there permanently. Based in Chicago, Tuskegee Next has trained nearly 60 pilots since 2015.

Congress tackles FAA’s new flight training policy
“This is an important first step toward a solution to the FAA’s misguided interpretation on flight training. The FAA did not heed the committee’s bipartisan call to work toward a consensus solution in July and now Congress is taking action,” said Rep. Sam Graves.

Earn WINGS credit with PlaneEnglish Aviation Radio Sim
Pilots can now claim WINGS credit for completing PlaneEnglish’s first and free course in the FAA WINGS Program called “Radio Communications at Non-Towered Airports and Class E Airspace.” Other courses will be released soon, according to company officials.

Founded by the New York-based chapter of Tuskegee Airmen Inc., RedTail Flight Academy’s training program is a 10-month curriculum, certifying students between the ages of 18-21 with a Part 141 multi-engine commercial pilot certificate and an instrument rating.
