Ted Luebbers submitted this photo and note: “I bet you did not see one of these at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2022. It’s a sailplane glider that John Domenjoz designed in the 1930s that’s on display at the Owls Head Transportation Museum in Maine. He claims to have flown it at least 10 times. The boat-type sail would keep him aloft and provide the necessary drive for takeoff.”
Proposed changes to LSA delayed
While FAA officials did give an update on Mosaic at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2022, they also let it be known that the new rule is not ready. That’s because officials have made a big change to the original update.

A private jet once owned by Elvis Presley was recently auctioned off for $500,000. That’s after the 1962 Lockheed JetStar L-1329 — which doesn’t have an engine or avionics — sat on a tarmac in New Mexico for 30 years.
