Sonex Aircraft recently posted a video of the B-Model flight test process in Red One, the company’s Waiex-B prototype. Flown by Joe Norris of Sonex Aircraft, Red One is AeroVee Turbo powered. Company officials say the the flight test process revealed no surprises — “it flies exactly like a Sonex and meets all published B-Model specs.”

OSHKOSH, Wis. — Sonex Aircraft officials are reporting that CEO Jeremy Monnett and assembly mechanic Mike Clark died June 2 in an accident involving Sonex Sport Acro N123SX at the east end of Wittman Regional Airport’s runway 9 around 3:30pm.
