Pratt & Whitney Engine Services has issued a dealer and installation agreement to US Aviation allowing it to install P&W’s Turbine Tracker System. The system operates like the black box on an airliner, monitoring all engine activity. It can be expanded to keep track of any airframe setting changes.
The hardware and software program provides aircraft owners/operators with aircraft performance data used to reduce maintenance and operating costs.
To accommodate the anticipated increase in maintenance activity, US Aviation Maintenance, which is at Denton Municipal Airport (KDTO) in Texas, is adding personnel and opening the doors seven days a week: Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to midnight, and Saturday and Sunday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
