United Rotorcraft Solutions (URS) has been authorized by the FAA to perform maintenance and repair on the MD500 series.
The authorization is helpful with certification projects currently in the works for the MD500, such as the SAGEM Integrated Cockpit Display and the Night Vision Lighting Modifications, said officials with the Decatur, Texas-based company.
United Rotorcraft Solutions, FAA Repair Station UX9R241Y, provides aircraft completions and refurbishment services, systems integration, maintenance, component overhaul, customized interior installations and exterior finishing on most model helicopters and some fixed wing aircraft. It also offers FAA-approved NVG compatible lighting systems for many models.
