Latitude Technologies has introduced its SkyNode Email Gateway, which provides aeronautical email access for crew and passengers.
The SEG100 is designed for use with the SkyNode S200 Satcom voice/data systems. Wireless cabin email access is provided to users of laptop computers or any WiFi capable device, including the iPhone and BlackBerry. Connected via RS-232 to the SkyNode S200, the SEG100 router handles email through the globally available Iridium network.
