WiFi aeronautical email debuts

Latitude Technologies has introduced its SkyNode Email Gateway, which provides aeronautical email access for crew and passengers.

SEG100 2The SEG100 is designed for use with the SkyNode S200 Satcom voice/data systems. Wireless cabin email access is provided to users of laptop computers or any WiFi capable device, including the iPhone and BlackBerry. Connected via RS-232 to the SkyNode S200, the SEG100 router handles email through the globally available Iridium network.
