Two regional airports and their FBOs – Middle Peninsula Regional Airport (FYJ) in West Point, Va., and Victoria Regional Airport (VCT) in Victoria, Texas – have joined the Phillips 66 Aviation dealer network.
The airports recently signed fuel agreements with the Ascent Aviation Group, the largest Phillips 66-branded aviation fuel distributor. Ascent supplies fuel to more than 200 Phillips 66-branded FBOs nationwide. The FBOs at both airports now accept the WingPoints Reward Card from Phillips 66 Aviation.
Victoria Regional Airport features four runways and one helipad across its 1,766 acres. The longest runway stretches 9,100 x 150 feet, handling larger jets including corporate, commercial and military aircraft. The airport has a rich legacy dating back to 1941 when Foster Field, as it was known, served as an advanced single-engine flying school for fighter pilots in the United States Army Air Forces. Located near West Point east of the Mattaponi River, Middle Peninsula Airport serves Eastern Virginia and is considered the aviation gateway to the Middle Peninsula and Northern Neck regions. The FBO lies within a 25-minute drive to most of the population and businesses located along Virginia’s Middle Peninsula. Middle Peninsula recently expanded its runway to 5,000 feet, with a full-length parallel taxiway. Services include terminal and pilot facilities, a corporate hangar, 10 T-hangar units, a LifeEvac medical helicopter available 24 hours a day, aircraft maintenance and skydiving.
