ISW and HIG join Phillips 66 network

By Janice Wood · July 4, 2010 ·

Two municipal airports served by fuel marketer The Hiller Group have joined the Phillips 66 Aviation-branded dealer network: Alexander Field South Wood County Airport (ISW) in Wisconsin Rapids, Wis., and Higginsville Municipal Airport (HIG) in Higginsville, Mo.

In operation since 1927, Alexander Field South Wood County Airport is a municipally owned airport in Wisconsin Rapids. The airport is municipally owned and operated by the Town of Grand Rapids, Village of Port Edwards, City of Nekoosa, and City of Wisconsin Rapids. Alexander Field can accommodate most planes coming into the region with its longest runway of 5,500 feet. The airport offers 24-hour fuel service. For more information, call 715-421-2359.

About 52 miles east of Kansas City, the Higginsville Municipal Airport serves the 114-year-old Higginsville community, one with strong roots in farming. Higginsville Municipal Airport provides maintenance, avionics repair, T hangers, tie-down and other assorted services. Four years ago, the runway was extended to 4,400 feet and is now 75 feet wide.
