For the first time in nearly six years, the Historical Flight Foundation’s DC-7-B took to the skies last weekend following an extensive renovation and restoration at Miami’s Opa Locka Airport, Florida. According to a report at EAA.org, the gleaming red, white, and blue airliner in Eastern Airlines livery took off of runway 9L July 4 for a 40-minute flight. Read the full story here.
