LETTER TO THE EDITOR
I enjoyed Dennis Parks’ article on the Lockheed JetStar (Flight & Flyers: A new age of business travel). Perhaps he’s being modest since he didn’t mention the fact, but I believe the first aircraft (which as he notes became Kelly Johnson’s personal airplane) is currently under restoration in the Seattle Museum of Flight facility in Everett, which is open to the public most days and is absolutely fascinating.

Dennis responds: “I wasn’t being modest, I was in a rush to finish the article on time and forgot to include the information. Attached is a photo on how the aircraft looks today except that it has since been disassembled.”
