Angel Flight pilot Michael Steele was recently interviewed by a Bangor, Maine, television station about an Angel Flight East mission he completed on Aug. 5, 2021. His passenger was Diane Messer, who spent 22 years in the Army as a helicopter pilot, flying to get people essential medical care. Now she’s battling chronic Lyme disease and the roles are reversed.
