National 100LL pricing moved modestly higher in July, with Full Service averaging $7.51, an increase of $0.04 (0.5%) compared to June, while 100LL Self Service averaged $6.46, up $0.04 (0.6%), reflecting an approximate 14% savings where self-serve options are available.
National Jet A Full Service averaged $7.80 in July, representing an increase of $0.17 (2.2%) compared to June. Excluding Alaska and Hawaii, Lower 48 Jet A Full Service averaged $7.73, up $0.19 (2.5%) compared to June.
UL94 Self Service averaged $7.47, up $0.06 (0.8%) in July, while mogas averaged $5.51, up $0.03 (0.5%). Both fuels continue to show limited and highly regional availability nationwide, according to iFlightPlanner officials.
Regional Jet A Full Service pricing was mixed across the Lower 48 states in July, led by the Central region at $7.28, up $0.44 (6.4%).
100LL Full Service pricing was generally steady, while 100LL Self Service posted modest gains across several regions, led by the Eastern region at $6.86, up $0.09 (1.4%).

- Central: Jet A Full Service averaged $7.28, an increase of $0.44 (6.4%). 100LL Full Service averaged $6.89, down $0.01 (-0.1%), while 100LL Self Service averaged $6.21, up $0.07 (1.2%).
- New England: Jet A Full Service averaged $7.94, up $0.01 (0.1%). Jet A Self Service averaged $7.20, up $0.46 (6.8%), the largest absolute percentage change among the primary Lower 48 aviation fuel categories.
- Eastern: 100LL Full Service averaged $7.71, up $0.07 (0.9%), while 100LL Self Service averaged $6.86, up $0.09 (1.4%), the largest month-over-month increase for 100LL Self Service.
- Great Lakes: Jet A Full Service averaged $7.27, up $0.24 (3.5%). 100LL Full Service averaged $7.17, up $0.06 (0.9%), while 100LL Self Service averaged $6.24, up $0.06 (1.0%).
Six-Month Overview
Over the past six months, national aviation fuel prices remained elevated despite moderating from their spring highs, iFlightPlanner officials noted.
National Jet A Full Service increased from $6.41 in February 2026 to $7.80 in July 2026, an increase of $1.39 (21.7%), while national 100LL Full Service rose from $6.43 to $7.51, an increase of $1.08 (16.8%).
After accelerating sharply between March and May, Jet A pricing eased in June before rebounding modestly in July. National 100LL Full Service followed a steadier trajectory, reaching $7.49 in May, dipping slightly in June, and edging higher again to $7.51 in July, its highest level in the last six months.
