A new app to help pilots answer the question “Is my aircraft compliant?” debuted at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2026.
Aircraft Compliance organizes the records of general aviation aircraft ownership — logbooks, inspections, Airworthiness Directives, registration, required documents — into a single, plain-language readiness picture, according to company officials.
“Instead of juggling multiple spreadsheets, bookmarked websites, and paper manuals, the owner sees one thing first: Is this aircraft compliant right now?” company officials said. “Color-coded alerts count down every deadline before it arrives, and every annual, AD, and squawk posts its real cost, so the owner watches budget, actual, and variance add up in real time.”
Squawks can be queued sequentially, then emailed straight from the app to the A&P, streamlining maintenance workflow while records sync across phone, tablet, and computer, they added.
“This is about staying in command of your aircraft’s readiness,” said Travis Carney, founder of Aircraft Compliance. “One glance confirms you’re current and airworthy before every flight, so a recent squawk or a fresh annual never becomes a surprise far from home.”
Among the tools on Aircraft Compliance is a cost tracker that lets you set a budget (from a shop quote, or last year’s actuals), then watch the real numbers and variances land as every annual, AD, squawk, and inspection posts its actual cost. It all rolls up into the number most owners only guess at: The true cost per flight hour, company officials noted.
Aircraft Compliance is structured around the actual recordkeeping rules owners live under (14 CFR 91.417), with records encrypted, automatically backed up, and exportable at any time, company officials said.
