Helo Girls: Agricultural Pilot Set to be Released

By General Aviation News Staff · October 28, 2026 · Leave a Comment

Blue Balloon Books will publish Helo Girls: The Agricultural Pilot, the fourth book in a children’s aviation series by former U.S. Army aviator Kodey Bogart, on Nov. 24, 2026.

The story follows agricultural pilot Mei Lin and her flight mechanic as they prepare their aircraft to apply crop protection products. Designed as an interactive experience, the book invites young readers to serve as crew observers who help locate fields, identify potential obstacles, and assist with pre-mission preparations.

The narrative also highlights how agricultural aviators collaborate directly with farmers to protect crops from pests and support food production, while incorporating core elements of science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM), according to the publisher.

Bogart, a former U.S. Army Black Hawk pilot with experience in helicopter emergency medical services, aviation safety, and flight instruction, created the series to introduce children to diverse flight careers beyond standard commercial pathways.
