Delta State University’s Commercial Aviation program is partnering with Delta Air Lines to offer eligible students a direct career pathway through the carrier’s Propel Pilot Career Path Program.
As a collegiate partner, Delta State connects student academic training with employment opportunities at Endeavor Air, Delta’s regional airline subsidiary, and eventually Delta Air Lines.
According to university officials, eligible candidates may apply while working as certified flight instructors and receive a qualified job offer contingent upon meeting program milestones. The partnership also consolidates the hiring pipeline into a single interview process covering both carriers.
“What makes Propel so special is that it gives our students something incredibly valuable: A clearly defined pathway to their future,” said Joe Saia, Executive Director of Flight Operations at Delta State. “They can earn their degree at Delta State, build their experience as flight instructors, progress to Endeavor Air, and ultimately pursue a career flying for Delta Air Lines.”
