The free library, where people can take a book or leave a book, will be modeled after KPDK’s iconic World War II hangar, once home to Navy airplanes, and now in use by EPPS Aviation.
Radio sim updated
The PlaneEnglish Aviation Radio Simulator (ARSim) has been updated with a new TRAINER mode that offers a progressive radio communications training curriculum with “Stage Checks” that unlock more complex levels of training and gives users the chance to earn an Aviation Comms Wings badge for completing all the modules.

The FAR/AIM books comes with a free subscription service that updates you throughout the year if a rule changes.

Wildlife strikes down in 2020, mostly due to pandemic
The 33% drop in wildlife strikes in 2020 was “directly related” to a 37% drop in aircraft movements during the COVID-19 pandemic, according to a new report from the FAA and the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
New owner for RexAir Flight Training and Maintenance at KAPF
The new owner is a former Naval Aviator who has managed flight training departments in Virginia, as well as worked for the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA).
