Composite-FX’s XEL is a factory-built helicopter, bargain priced at $52,000. GA pilots should have no problem flying the aircraft, which falls under the Part 103 regulations, company officials claim.

The Warbird Roundup, hosted by the Warhawk Air Museum of Nampa, Idaho, kicked off with an F-35 demonstration flight, which “ups the ante for the long-running” show. The show’s first day also featured World War II fighter ace Bud Anderson in a specially-marked Beech Super King Air that looked a lot like the P-51 Mustang he flew in the war.

So I surprised her with a flight to eat lunch once restaurants were back open. We flew my Cessna 182 from Decatur, Alabama, to Shelbyville, Tennessee, to eat at the Bell Buckle Cafe. She is on top of the world with excitement!”
