Cynthia Kercher submitted this photo and note: “Bristell N24CE made a practice flight to Cheat River Island Airport (56WV) in Rowlesburg, West Virginia, from Deck Airport (9D4) in Myerstown, Pennsylvania, in preparation for the upcoming Cheat River Fall Fly-In 2025 on Oct. 11. Very nice grass runway with a fascinating approach. A great little airport in the beautiful mountains of West Virginia.”
Proposed ADS-B bill will protect general aviation
The Pilot and Aircraft Privacy Act will do nothing to harm aviation. It will, however, safeguard a pilot’s privacy while ensuring that ADS-B — a safety tool required by the FAA for aircraft operating in controlled airspace and funded by pilots — is used for its intended purpose and not for economic gain.
