Memorial park tells the story of the Tuskegee Airmen

A memorial park at Lowcountry Regional Airport in Walterboro, S.C., tells the story of the Tuskegee Airman, who were known as the Red Tail Angels for the identifying red paint on their tail assemblies and “because of their reputation for not losing aircraft to enemy fighters as they provided fighter coverage for missions over strategic targets in Europe” during World War II.

Effort begins to make it easier to park your plane

DuPage Airport becomes vaccine site

The airport cleared out several aircraft from the 32,000-square-foot hangar to allow for the setup of 10 vaccination stations. A steady stream of recipients flowed in and out of the hangar from 8 a.m. through 5 p.m. Wednesday for their first dose of the vaccine. More than 2,000 vaccines were distributed that day.

New solar panels help Clay Lacy work towards zero carbon footprint
