Garmin reports new capabilities for the G1000 on the King Air C90 are available through the latest software upgrade. The latest update offers new features including NextGen components such as Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B) compliance and user-defined holding patterns.
Garmin has introduced its online GTN Essential eLearning course. The self-paced course provides pilots with an overview of the GTN 650/750, whether they have an introductory, intermediate or advanced level of understanding and experience with the GTN touchscreen series.
Garmin has unveiled its new GDL 69 and GDL 69A SXM datalink receivers, which offer access to new weather service packages with lower activation fees from SiriusXM and its latest G4 satellite network.
Now available from Garmin is the Flight Stream 110/210 Bluetooth wireless gateway. Flight Stream enables connectivity and communication between some Garmin avionics and Garmin Pilot on some iPad/iPhone and Android devices.
The Flight Stream 210 is compatible with the GTN 650/750 and GNS 430/530 WAAS series navigators, as well as the GDL 88 ADS-B datalink and GDL 69/69A SiriusXM datalink receivers.
