After the launch of the inaugural Calvin L. Carrithers Aviation scholarship program in 2014, Globalair.com announced at AirVenture 2015 it will continue offering its blog writing scholarship to students enrolled in any accredited university aviation program for the 2015-2016 school year.
Four students will be accepted into the program that entails writing weekly blogs sharing their flight training or aviation management experiences while being awarded a scholarship of $250 twice a semester, equaling a total award of $1,000. [Read more…]
The San Diego Air & Space Museum’s mission statement is to inspire young people to tackle the challenges of the science, technology, engineering and mathematics academic disciplines and to make a difference in the world through an innovative, adventurous spirit. To further this goal, the museum and Convair Alumni Association has selected 12 students to receive a total of $38,500 in scholarships.

During the official opening at the 55th annual AEA International Convention & Trade Show on Wednesday, April 4, the Aircraft Electronics Association announced the names of 25 individuals who were awarded more than $100,000 in scholarships for the 2012-13 academic year through the AEA Educational Foundation.
