The Virginia Department of Aviation and AOPA Air Safety Foundation will present safety seminars titled “What Went Wrong” at four locations across the Commonwealth of Virginia Oct. 5-8 from 7 p.m.-9 p.m.
Kurt Reesman, an aviation professor at Liberty University’s School of Aeronautics, is the featured speaker at the seminars, which begin Oct. 5 at Virginia Tech Airport in Blacksburg (540-231-4444 or VTBCB.com
The Oct. 6 seminar is at Danville Regional Airport (434-793-7033 or FlyDanville.com); the Oct. 7 seminar is at the Virginia Aviation Museum at the Richmond International Airport (804-236-3622 or VAM.smv.org) ; while the Oct. 8 seminar is at the Virginia Air & Space Center in Hampton (757-727-0900 or VASC.org.) The last seminar is slated for Oct. 27, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., at the Liberty University School of Religion in Lynchburg.
