The Society of Aviation and Flight Educators (SAFE) is collaborating with Lightspeed Aviation, manufacturers of the Zulu headset, on an initiative to promote the growth of general aviation in three areas: Growing the number of pilots; growing the safety and proficiency of pilots; and growing the application of aviation for those in need, according to SAFE officials.
Lightspeed is also donating a Zulu headset valued at $850 to be given away by SAFE during Sun ‘n Fun.
The two organizations also will explore the joint development and promotion of aviation safety as well as opportunities to provide value-added benefits for SAFE members, according to SAFE Chair Doug Stewart, who adds, “SAFE has mapped out an aggressive partnership campaign for 2010. We look forward to working with the people at Lightspeed during Sun ‘n Fun and beyond.”
