Paulding Northwest Atlanta Airport near the town of Dallas, Ga., the first airport built in Georgia in 30 years, was devastated by a tornado March 2, AOPA is reporting, quoting airport officials as saying the damage is “very significant,” while up to 90% of the aircraft on the field were damaged by the tornado, which was later rated an EF-3 by the National Weather Service.
