PAMA Scholarships

By General Aviation News Staff · July 30, 2012 ·

By DALE FORTON.

Last year the Professional Aviation Maintenance Association’s chapters gave out more than $80,000 in scholarships. These are available to new students looking to get into aviation maintenance as a career and also to existing aviation maintenance professionals looking to advance their careers.

The scholarships are available through many of our chapters. You can find the contact information to our chapters on our website, PAMA.org. Please contact them individually to inquire as to the opportunities available for you.

Dale Forton, I am presently trying to help and individual continue his A&P education. I currently need information on procedures to help him get a scholarship with PAMA. He is presently in his second year of education and has completed his Airframe license and is working on Power Plant. This individual is presently working full time, has a family and going to school at night to complete his program. Thank you for any help.
