Women in Aviation will use its $250,000 grant to offer 47 additional scholarships in 2021, while the Ninety-Nines will use its $500,000 grant to develop additional pilot proficiency programs and increase its outreach activities.

Why do pilots continue to inadvertently fly into IMC?
These kinds of accidents “stem from failed planning, lack of understanding, or poor decision-making. All pilots have the option to turn down a flight before launch, turn around, proceed to an alternate, or land in a safe place if the weather deteriorates below company or personal minimums, yet we continue to see these types of accidents.”
The Museum of Flight reopens March 4

ACE names new executive director
