Dale Rhodes sent in these photos of his 1960 Bonanza, which he has owned for nine years. The first was taken with Shiprock in the background just outside of Shiprock, N.M., while the second was taken as the Bonanza flew over Monument Valley, Arizona.

Ken VeArd of Pilot Partner captured this shot while flying in formation with a Vietnam-era Cessna 0-2 piloted by Lee Denham over College Station, Texas. The O-2 saw significant action in Vietnam and still has skins patched from bullet holes received during service. The Warbird will be available for sale soon, VeArd noted.

Bryan Painter sent in this photos of a Mooney in the early morning at Tieton Airstrip (4S6) in Washington state, the Mooney in the grass with a pup under the tail at Bear Valley, Wash. (WN47), as well as the Mooney overflying Boeing Field (KBFI) in Seattle, and then landing at KBFI.

David Baldwin sent in this photos of a flight he took with his daughter Jennifer in his Kitfox to check out the fall colors and the “Termination Dust” up Eklutna Lake and out to Knik Glacier in Alaska.  “Crisp clear and smooth air, had a great time!” he reports.

Megan Vande Voort sent in this photo of a Meyers OTW that belongs to Captain Chuck Downey, the youngest Naval Aviator in World War II. The photo was shot near Classic Aviation in Pella, Iowa, over the Red Rock area. While Downey is still living, he’s no longer able to fly his Meyers.
