Latest edition of Dictionary of Aeronautical Terms released

The new eighth edition, which contains more than 13,000 aviation-specific definitions and acronyms, collects all of the terms in the Federal Aviation Regulations (Title 14 CFR), glossaries from FAA handbooks, advisory circulars, the Aeronautical Information Manual (AIM), and Pilot/Controller Glossary, as well as definitions not found in government publications, according to ASA officials.
