New campaign aims to set the record straight on business aviation

On opening day of the 2023 National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) annual convention, aviation advocates unveiled “Climbing. Fast.,” a new campaign aimed at setting the record straight on the business aviation industry’s many societal benefits, including its leadership role in sustainability, underscored by a focus on achieving net-zero carbon emissions from flight in the years to come.

Record attendance for Girls in Aviation Day

Through events hosted by WAI chapters and corporate members, the number of GIAD participants more than doubled to over 30,000 compared with 16,000 attendees at GIAD 2022, according to WAI officials. The number of countries where events were held grew to 31 countries this year versus 19 countries last year. The number of events also increased to 168 events compared with over 120 last year.
