Bill introduced to repeal aircraft sales tax exemption in Massachusetts
If passed, the bill would impose a 6.25% state sales tax on the sale of aircraft and parts. GA advocacy groups are opposing the bill, which could be a “significant obstacle” to the success of the aviation industry in Massachusetts.
New Aircraft Mechanic Training Center in the works at Dayton airport
The new training center, which will be housed in a renovated hangar at Dayton International Airport, is expected to open in early 2023.
