Featuring two sets of controls, a yoke and joystick, with the option of virtual reality, pilots and aspiring aviators will be able to take to the sky virtually anywhere in the world. Individuals are able to choose from more than 30 aircraft to fly. Flights can be adjusted to depart and land in various destinations all while the user experiences real-time weather and air traffic conditions.

STEM Flights expands into Michigan
During the May kickoff events in Michigan, STEM Flights partnered with Crosswinds Aviation, School of Missionary Aviation Technology, and the Air Zoo Aerospace and Science Museum. According to officials, 15 students participated in flight experiences with six pilot mentors from around the state.

New World War II in the Air gallery planned at National Air and Space Museum
The new gallery will explore how World War II transformed aviation and warfare and inaugurated a new era in military aviation, according to museum officials. The gallery will open with a carrier war section featuring the Grumman FM-1 Wildcat. The North American P-51D Mustang and the Messerschmitt Bf 109G are among the other rare fighter aircraft that will be featured.
National Aviation Hall of Fame cancels 2021 enshrinement ceremony
Travel concerns, as well as concerns for an aviation industry still recovering, led officials to cancel a ceremony for 2021. But officials promise the enshrinement of the Class of 2022 will go forward.
Spirit of Flight Museum lands at KMAN
Now based in Westminster, Colorado, the Spirt of Flight Center is expected to move its collection to Nampa Municipal Airport in Idaho when its new facility is completed in November 2021.

National WASP WWII Museum slates homecoming fly-in
Museum officials are hoping to set a one-day record for the number of Vultee BT-13s — the WASP’s basic training — on one airfield. To encourage attendance, partial fuel reimbursement will be available to BT-13 owners.
EAA Museum expands with Pilot Proficiency Center
The $6.2 million project, funded via a capital campaign separate from EAA member dues, will feature a Pilot Proficiency Center and a hands-on Youth Education Center. It is expected to be open by the 2022 EAA AirVenture Oshkosh.
