Swiss watch company Breitling is celebrating the 75th anniversary of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA) with the release of a special limited edition timepiece, a scholarship program aimed at expanding the aviation community, and special events focused on sharing the passion of aviation with people across the USA throughout the year.
Swiss watch company Breitling has donated $100,000 to Angel Flight Northeast (AFNE), a nonprofit organization that schedules free air transportation for patients who need to access life-saving medical care that is not readily available to them due to their geographic location and who lack the financial resources to travel commercially to receive treatment or diagnosis.
As part of Breitling’s year-long salute to the 100th anniversary of naval aviation, the Swiss watchmaker has produced a special timepiece: the Naval Centennial Limited Edition Airwolf. The first piece of this series has been on a journey that took it across the globe and into space, and will conclude with an auction to benefit the National Flight Academy.
