About 40 people arrived before dawn Saturday, March 18, 2017, for a Foreign Object Debris (FOD) walk at the Greenville Downtown Airport (KGMU) in South Carolina. The airport’s Lara Kaufmann sent in these photos showing the volunteers’ dedication.

This photo caught my eye when it first appeared in Vermont Aviation, an email newsletter put out by the Aviation Program of the Agency of Transportation for the state of Vermont. They spotted it first on a Reddit thread.
Fun flight
Jim Hefner sent in these photos, taken March 9, 2017, during a “fun flight to Monument Valley with lunch at Gouldings Lodge (UT25). After lunch I flew to Mexican Hat, then west over the Goosenecks and Lake Powell to Page, where I stayed overnight,” he said.
