Missouri community college to establish flight training program at KCOU
The new aviation training program will be a college-accredited FAA-certified flight school. Graduates of the program will earn an Associate in Applied Science degree, along with all their certificates and ratings through CFI.
Pilot’s mechanical error leads to crash
The pilot’s failure to reinstall the nose landing gear linkage prior to the flight which resulted in a loss of directional control during landing.

CAP expands fleet
The Civil Air Patrol, the world’s largest Cessna piston aircraft operator, has added four Cessna Skyhawks, one Cessna Skylane, and one Cessna Turbo Stationair H to its fleet of almost 550 Cessna aircraft.
