Due to the AD currently issued on the B-17s, she didn’t depart this day. However, we were able to have an educational static tour of her.”
New collaboration makes being a volunteer pilot just a bit easier
Volunteer general aviation pilots who fly for Angel Flight of New England will automatically qualify to fly Above The Clouds Kids’ missions, which means they only need to fill out one pilot application.
WomenVenture to commemorate 30 years of women flying in combat

Florida airport offers incentives for pilots to buy UL94 fuel
The Naples Airport Authority (NAA) Board of Commissioners unanimously approved incentives to offset the higher cost of UL 94 at the Naples Airport. The subsidies cut the cost of UL 94 nearly in half, making it equal in price to leaded aviation gasoline. The airport also will offer eligible aircraft based at Naples a $250 one-time credit to complete the FAA required certification for the unleaded STC.
Vets 2 Wings: A win-win solution
In October 2022, the university was awarded $2.5 million in a cooperative agreement from the FAA to assist U.S. military veterans with paying for flight training and providing extra support to ensure a successful transition to the airline workforce.

The model is a replica of an SR22 based at Sporty’s/Clermont County Airport (I69) in Ohio and the only 1:72 scale Cirrus SR22 ever made available, according to Sporty’s officials.
