An aerial ballet

Of Wings & Things columnist Frederick A. Johnsen, who is also the force behind the Airailimages YouTube channel, recently posted a video that showcases the masterful flying by the pilot of an Air Tractor turbine-powered agricultural aircraft — a crop duster in the old-school terminology — as the aircraft weaves, climbs, and dives to match rolling farm terrain dotted with tall trees, antennas, and utility poles near Eltopia, Washington, in June 2023.

Flight school orders 30 Tecnam aircraft

Kansas-based Kilo Charlie Aviation has placed an order for 30 Tecnam aircraft to be delivered over the next two years. Phase I of the order includes three twin-engine P2006Ts and 12 single-engine P-Mentors. Honeywell to add heads-up displays to its avionics
