The second busiest general aviation airport in the Virginia, Leesburg Executive Airport was the site of a remote tower program until June 14, 2023. The remote tower program was canceled by the FAA, which is paying for a mobile tower and air traffic controllers through the end of September 2023.

The fly-in that started as a challenge
Jake McCullough challenged himself to get 50 planes to fly in for the first annual fly-in at Lockhart Municipal Airport in Texas. He surpassed that goal and the fly-in has grown every year.

Car show at air museum to benefit veterans
All proceeds from the show will be donated to the Fargo Air Museum’s veterans program to provide events, community, and support to veterans in the Fargo Moorhead area. This is the third year for the charitable car show at the museum, officials noted.
Miniature GPS introduced
