New aviation program to take off at Texas university
The Doswell School of Aeronautical Sciences at Texas Women’s University is expected to begin enrolling students in fall 2024, according to university officials, who note the school will initially train 25 students each year.
FlightSimExpo lands in Houston in June
In addition to 130,000 square feet of exhibit space spread across two hangars, the show will feature product announcements and educational seminars throughout the three-day event and fly-in June 23-25 at the Lone Star Flight Museum at Ellington Airport (KEFD).

EAA to introduce 70th anniversary beer at AirVenture 2023
Pilots and aviation enthusiasts attending EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2023 can get a taste of the Experimental Aircraft Association’s 70th anniversary as EAA partners with Stone Arch Brew Pub of Appleton, Wisconsin, to produce a special commemorative beer.
Volunteers needed to help N.H. students build airplanes

Aircraft set to fly in for Innovations in Flight
More than 50 vintage, modern, and commercial aircraft will fly in to the National Air and Space Museum’s Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center’s annual Innovations in Flight Outdoor Aviation Display, Saturday, June 17, 2023, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
